Discord Onboarding

A Step-by-Step Guide to Joining RaidGuild’s Server

To embark on your journey with RaidGuild, the first step is to join our Discord server, where Guild members gather, plan, and share knowledge. Follow this simple onboarding process to get started:

Step 1: Accept the Invite

  • Receive your Invite Link
To join RaidGuild’s Discord, you’ll need an invite link. New members and collaborators typically receive this link directly from a Guild member or through official Guild channels. If you’re an incoming Apprentice or have been granted access, check your email or DMs for the link.

  • Click the Link
Once you have the invite, click on the link to enter the Guild’s Discord server. Make sure you’re logged into Discord or create an account if you’re new to the platform.

Step 2: Verify Your Account

  • Complete Verification
When you join, you’ll be prompted to verify your account. Follow the instructions to complete this step. This helps us maintain a secure and bot-free server.

Step 3: Introduce Yourself

  • Head to #tavern
Now that you’ve got the basics, introduce yourself! Share a bit about who you are, your skills, and what brings you to RaidGuild. This is a great way to start connecting with other Guild members and let us know how you’d like to contribute.

Step 4: Set Up Notifications

  • Customize Your Notifications
To keep your notifications manageable, adjust your settings in each channel as needed. Most members choose to set alerts for key channels like #announcements while muting others until they’re actively participating.

Step 5: Explore Channels and Get Involved

  • Navigate the Server
Familiarize yourself with our various channels, each dedicated to different areas of Guild operations. Some key channels to explore include:

    • #tavern for casual discussion and community building
    • #client-arena a general chat for all RaidGuild Clients
    • #product-support for Raid Guild-owned products only (not products built for clients). Smart Invoice, WrapETH, etc...
  • Ask Questions in #help
If you’re unsure about anything, head to the #help channel. Guild members and moderators are ready to assist with any questions about the server or Guild processes.

Step 6: Sync with Your Guild Role

  • Gain Access to Apprentice or Member Channels
If you’re an Apprentice or have an official Guild role, a moderator will help you gain access to specific channels related to your role. Keep an eye out for a message from a Guild leader or moderator to finalize your role setup.
